| At the top of the main page we have a calendar. This is available to any of our members that wish to post the date of an upcoming event or wish to check on any events upcoming in relation to this forum.
Kind regards,
Den.

| Hi Den, Hope you're well? I'd be up for it. Sorry, I've not been around for th last few days, I've had Lee M. over here for the weekend. He did a most excellent Combatives workshop for some of my lads. I'm still sore! Where would we hold something like it, presumably the UK? | |

| I may have to have words with Lee, I need my mods in one piece, but as long as you can type he can do what he likes with the rest of you Apart from the brain ofcourse, no point surrounding myslf with people of higher intelligence if they get their brains bashed in on a regular basis It certainly would be the UK but where is open to debate. I personally feel Newcastle is a cultural Hub and has great night life and I live just down the road(Excuse the grammar!) Seriously Im not as clued up on The amazing meeting as yourself Rob and I shall have to get my head down and do some good research/PR to make sure we do not have a monumental flop on our hands. Its made the more difficult that we are all doing this voluntarily and very likely special guests may demand hefty payments! We shall see but definately I do want to go with it. Any suggestions from fellow members feel free to pm or post here, Rob just pm or start a thread in staff room even better if you have any ideas. Ireland will not be discounted if we can get enough people so do not feel you are being discounted Rob, lets just see how this pans out. Anyway thats enough for now I think, excellent to have a goal to aim for and best of all it gets British Sceptics out of the woodwork and have some good fun in the process! Regards, Den. | |

| No worries... I only need two fingers to type. I think my brain got bashed a long time ago. To be honest I'm not too sure how these things are done either. That said, we've got to start somewhere! But it think it's well achievable (if other people can do it and all). Hmmm.... we could look into getting a few of the clever bods over in England involved, they may do something like this for little or nothing - just to promote skepticism (fingers crossed anyway). Although, I'm sure they'd want expenses (dang! ). As you were saying... it's a great goal to aim for. R. | |

| Just thinking, It might be worth contacting a few members of the "skeptics guide to the universe" at some point, when the forum gets a few more bods. We could maybe do some kind of skype interview with one of the members. I'd say they'd be happy to give us a wee bit of their time in order to promote some critical thinking. Brian Donning might do the same. Fingers crossed... Rob. | |
