brain game

anyone tried nintendo's "brain game"?

just wondering if it does what it says on the tin.

Hey Den,

I've not played it to be honest - but I'm a bit skeptical about it. Seriously, If you enjoy playing those type of IQ games I'm sure there good. I personally don't think that they would do your brain any more good than the other things that people enjoy. Assuming that's not just sitting in front of a T.V.

I use other methods to keep my brain active. I do lots of research on Combatives, and Self-protection. I've got to stay sharp now especially since I'm teaching it.

Reading, writing on all or any subjects that interest me (also thinking about those subjects).

I'm well into roleplaying - Which is a great mental workout (I'm such a nerd).

I guess as long as you're doing something that you love, you're brain will always be active.

Just my take.

you dont play warhammer by any chance do you,

used to love fantasy warhammer roleplay as a kid and took role as GM!

Never liked the 40,000 stuff though.

As for armys I loved bad guys, especially chaos!

Wonder if you can play that old school stuff online, would be a blast

Hah... I suspected you might have been an rpg'r - you using the "GM" word in an earlier thread.

Would you believe, that Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay is one of my all time favorite games. I've got all the stuff! (including the second edition that was only released a few years back).

I'm also well into:
Vampire
Call of Cthulhu
Savage Worlds

We could always play over skype if your interested. I live in the country, and there 'aint no rpg'rs down here.

I'm the same... anything grim 'n gritty.

Skype is dead easy to install - you just download it, and it's virtually sets itself up. Might be good for groups of skeptical chat too.

I must stop spelling Skeptical with a "k". I'm so used to the American spelling.

hmmmm sceptical groups online, have a think about how that could be set up Rob and its a definately/maybe
