As we started on topic of nutrition with the yogurt thread, thoght id post this. Clarifies logical fallacy:

argument from authority!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1037220/Mother-awarded-800-000-pints-water-day-detox-diet-left-brain-damaged.html

My troofer friend only believed what his nutritionist told him, which is ok to a point but as the above article illustrates, A degree does not mean you should 100% trust that person.

Be warned and keep a little sceptcism always.

Regards,

Den.

"Argument from authority". Excellent!

You've got to relatively skeptical of all the nutritional info, especially now days.

ave a look at this vid. And spot the BS.

1) Anecdotal evidence of a few bods who say... "well, I believe". So in other words it means nothing, because they have a hunch.
2) Supposed scientific evidence. From a Doctor who's on the fringe. Show me his hypothesis in a peer reviewed journal.
3) From the Media (fox news - no less!)
4) Alarmist Tactics.
