| Just seen Dark Knight at Boldon Cinema,
cracking film,
surpassed my expectations,
I expected a carbon copy of the Jack Nicholson Joker,
superior movie, and the nicholson was my favourite by far!

| I saw it at the weekend watched it with My son, to be fair I liked it just not as much as batman begins. kinda thought there was something missing.
all in all a good watch even if it is 2 and a half hours long.

| I loved it completely! Few critics can deny now that the superhero movie has well and truly grown up. With this picture I feel that finally Hollywood has caught up with the comic (books) | |

| I saw it to recently.... I liked it quite a bit. I'm a big fan Christian of Bale. I also thought Ledger's Joker was very cool indeed. In all honesty, I didn't really like the first film that much - so I got a pleasant surprise with this one. One thing I was not too mad on, was the design of the the Batman costume. Much preferred Tim Burton's vision. I also didn't like Bale's raspy Batman voice - it really grated me after a while and I found it a bit cheesy. But all in all I liked the film and would highly recomend a viewing. But to be honest I still prefer the Tim Burton film - but that;s just me. | |

| I totally agree with Jamie... the "super hero" movies has become really good over the last few years, and is no longer a genre that deserves ridicule. | |

| I thought the film was really good and fell just short of absolute greatness. I think it is too long and feel certain there is some fat in the film but on one viewing I can't work out where. It was so nice to see a "Hollywood" film which had grand ideas and started exploring themes and then didn't chicken out in the third act and just turn into an action fest (Iron Man anybody?)
I also agree with Rob that the rasping Batman vocals were a bit much but you can't really say that Ledger or Eckhart put a foot wrong in that film. In fact, I'd put Eckhart's performance above Ledgers and that's not taking anything away from Ledger. | |

| Ledger was awesome! I was wondering how well he'd do against Jack Nicholson - They both had very different styles. In my view Ledger was every bit as good. | |
