This a largely positive review of a book that provides a refreshingly optimistic view of the Net Generation. Better still it teaches and promotes understanding, which is very important for me as a coach fascinated with new teaching methods. My review includes reference to Damian Thompson's "Counterknowledge", which I read at the same time and provided a sage contrast when Tapscott preaches the scrutinizing trait of the Net Generation. He neglects to mention the huge amount of misinformation and disinformation propagated and endorsed by many members of the Net Generation.
