PostSubject: Meridians exist?   Wed Feb 18, 2009 9:43 pm

Its topics like THISthat really get my back up. I do not care if people believe in new age alt med therapeutic treatment, I do give a damn when they try and ram it down peoples throats that meridians, qi, etc exist and it has ben scientifically proven.

THERE IS NO SCIENTIFIC EVIDENCE FOR SUPERNATURAL OR PARANORMAL ENERGIES FLOWING THROUGH OUR BODIES!

If there is something there it will be governed by the laws of nature and science will unearth it, however there is currently no hard medical based evidence that acupuncture works beyond the 'placebo effect' and certainly no evidence of supernatural energies flowing through our bodies beyond that offered by acupuncturist bloggers and years old research that admitted all the evidence was not yet in.

Also I hate when people use science to support their fallacious claims and when the 'science' they provide is debunked they attack 'science' as not having all the answers.

Lets stop being so bloody hypocritical, either go with science or dump it, don't cherry pick the evidence to support your supernatural belief system.

Regards,

Den.
